Grade 5 Outdoor Ed Trips
On June 5 and 6th the grade 5 classes went on a local field trip to discover the amazing outdoor opportunities in their own backyards.They started out the day with a walk to H20 Paddling where they explored the Lachine Canal in Rabaska canoes. From there they did a local organic scavenger hunt in the Atwater market and discussed the pros and cons of eating locally as they compared the products to the gardens they have planted in STEM class this year. In the afternoon they walked home through, St Henri, stopping at local parks and points of interest along the way.
