Fall Poetry Outing for 6A

On October 27, Grade 6A headed to Westmount Park, clipboards in hand, in search of inspiration for their poetry writing. The autumn sunshine and vibrant fall colours provided a perfect backdrop for students to tap into their five senses and draft their poems. They carefully crafted haikus, cinquains, senryus, and other poem forms recently introduced in the classroom. It was a wonderful moment outside to enjoy the fresh air, appreciate the gorgeous autumn day, and get creative.
