Old Boys signed to McGill, Carleton

News reached Selwyn House this week that two recent graduates have been signed to university football teams.

On Saturday, Jan 20, Old Boy Dhandre Weekes 2015, signed his official Letter of Intent to join the Carleton University Ravens football program. 

The graduate of Champlain College - Lennoxville, will pursue a Bachelor of Arts with a concentration in law. As a football player, he will continue his career as a receiver for the Ravens, a position he starred at this past football season at CEGEP.

"Dre" as he was known as during his three-year tenure at Selwyn House, was a three-sport athlete who starred in football and basketball, while also playing rugby in his final year at the school. At the end of his career, he was the co-recipient of the McMaster Memorial Trophy, awarded to the Senior School Athlete of the Year.

Word has also reached Selwyn House that Yassine Belkhou 2016 will be attending McGill University next fall and has signed with the Redmen football team.
