Elementary chess players win medals at Brébeuf
Both Selwyn House School Elementary Chess Teams did well at the biannual Interscholastic Team Chess Championship held at College Jean de Brebeuf on Dec. 2.
With over 60 teams from Montreal area schools divided by grade level, members of the Selwyn House Chess Club finished with medals in both the Grade-6-and-Under and Grade-3-and-Under sections.
"I consider myself lucky to have a group of such sharp and determined boys representing the school this year," said Chess Coach George Levtchouk.
