Majdell, Kaufman and Bruno lead Gryphons at track & field championships
Grade 8 student Beck Majdell put on a show at the 2019 GMAA boys track & field championships on Tuesday, May 14. He placed first in the 200m dash, second in the triple jump and third in the 100m dash.
Also up on the podium for the Gryphons were Nicolas Kaufman and Kaylan Bruno, both graduating students. Nicolas placed second in the 200m dash, and fourth in the 100m dash, while Kaylan ended up second in the 400m race and third in the 200m dash, just behind Nicolas.
The Midget-aged boys also put on an impressive showing, as the 4x100m relay team of Jack Aitken, Isaac Cape, Simon Trudeau and Markus Lulic-Descheneaux placed third. The 4x400m relay team, including Cape, Trudeau, Tomas Dubroca and Rory Krnjevic, ended up second.
Congratulations to all of the boys who participated on Wednesday - it was a great day for the Gryphons!
