Grade 4 Outdoor Ed Survival Skills

Grade 4's ventured out to the forest in Kahnawake where they learned wilderness survival skills with the Coyote Program Mentors. They learned how to make a fire collectively, how to check for Ticks, identify Poison Ivy, how to Fox Walk, open their Owl eyes and to tune into their environment using all their senses. We are grateful for the welcoming Tehotarothie offered us and and for his teachings about his people and language. - Cory Deegan - Outdoor Education Program Coordinator
