Grade 6 and 8 students meet the Challenge

Selwyn House Grade 6 student Max Arbour and Grade 8 student Nicolas Capolicchio both achieved the highest scores in the Province of Quebec for their age group in the 2021 Scholastic Challenge.
 
And, for the third year in a row, the Selwyn House team has taken third place in all of Quebec in the Grade 6 age group.
 
Throughout February and March, Grade 6 and Grade 8 students across Canada competed in the 2021 Scholastic Challenge, an online quiz testing general knowledge. We are proud to announce that 27 of our Grade 6 students and 23 of our Grade 8s achieved results above the national average.
 
Those with above-average scores from Grade 8 were:

For the past twenty-five years, The Scholastic Challenge has provided students with an entertaining and challenging enrichment activity that allows them to demonstrate a variety of problem-solving skills and knowledge in many academic areas.
