Brad Moffat returns to the lab

A year and a half ago, after 45 years of teaching senior physics at Selwyn House School, Brad Moffat retired, with the dream in mind of travelling the world.
 
Then the COVID-19 pandemic hit, and—like many of us—he found himself stuck at home, bored and unable to keep up his regular workouts.
 
On August 23, Brad returned to Selwyn House to substitute for senior science teacher David Grier, and Brad says the experience of teaching again makes him feel recharged, both physically and mentally.
 
So, the man his colleague Tom Downey called the best teacher he ever saw is back to his old self and up to his old tricks in the science lab, where anything can happen and usually does.
