Five students awarded for McEntyre Writing Competition

Each year, Selwyn House students in Grades 1 to 8 write the McEntyre Writing competition.  On Thursday, June 9 Selwyn House School students were honoured at Victoria Hall at the 50th McEntyre Writing Competition Award Ceremonies. Crescent Sun (Grade 1 - second place), Ranunak Ramesan (Grade 1 - third place), Hardy Han (Grade 2 - second place), Kai Mendell (Grade 3-honorable mention), and  Leo Smilow (Grade 7-first place).The awards were presented by Mayor Christina M. Smith and city councillor Mary Gallery, Commissioner of Sports and Recreation and Parks and Greenhouse.
