Senior Science classes put learning into action

While studying forces and work, Ms. Lynam's and Mr. Downey’s Senior Science classes teamed up and headed outside on October 19 to put learning into action. The goal was to determine the amount of work done in pushing a car across the Guzzo Yard. Bathroom scales were used to measure the force needed to push the car while distance and time were recorded. We ended with the ultimate challenge, "Who could move the car the fastest!" – Ms. Lynam, Senior Science Dept. Co-Head
