This fall, students in Grades 2, 3, 4 and 5 took part in the Noetic Learning Math Contest (NLMC). The NLMC is one of the largest math contests in the United States for elementary and middle school students.
Every year, more than 30,000 students participate. The goal of the NLMC is to develop students' problem-solving skills so that they will become better thinkers and be better prepared for advanced STEM studies.
This term, students applied math concepts learned in the classroom and problem-solving skills to independently solve twenty creative math problems.
Congratulations to all of the students who took part!
