Honouring Vimy Day...from Australia

Every year, Nick Rideout '80 lets his classmates know about the annual Vimy Day (April 9) ceremony that he puts on at the Melbourne Shrine of Remembrance in Australia. Several of them tune in and watch the livestream event. Nick writes: "This year, we had Consul General André Giroux, Consul General of Canada, and Colonel Richard Raymond, Canada’s Defence Attaché, (both from the High Commission of Canada in Canberra). Honourable Natalie Suleyman, MP - VIC Minister for Veterans - also joined us as well as Consular Corps representatives from many of our NATO allies including UK, USA, France, Germany, Luxembourg, Poland, Czech Republic, Republic of Croatia, Slovak Republic, Republic of Slovenia together with members from the Australian Defence Force (ADF) plus others. Here’s the link from The Shrine’s website for the short ceremony." https://www.shrine.org.au/australia-and-canada-recognition-joint-service-and-support.
