Boisjoli film wins Canadian Screen Award

On March 31 in Toronto, Evren Boisjoli 2008 and his production team won the Canadian Screen Award for Best Live Action Short Drama for their film, Fauve

This news comes on the heels of their recent trip to the Oscars in Hollywood, where Fauve was nominated for an Academy Award in the category of Best Live-Action Short.

The Canadian Screen Awards were first presented in 2013, as the result of a merger of the Gemini Awards and the Genie Awards. They are widely considered to be the most prestigious award for Canadian entertainers, artists and filmmakers, often referred to as the equivalent of the Oscars and Emmy Awards in the US, or the BAFTA Awards in the UK.
