Oldest Old Boy passes: Frank Stark '33

It is with great sadness we announce the peaceful passing, after a full life, of Frank Stark in his 98th year, at Ste. Anne's Veterans Hospital. Frank was the oldest active Selwyn House Old Boy. Predeceased by his loving wife, Nancy Beryl Forbes, brothers John and Robert Stark, and grandson Christopher Reinards. Devoted and loving father of Carol, Elizabeth, Isabel (Bill), Murray (Selwyn House Class of 1974) and Cynthia (Michael). He will be sadly missed by his eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, extended family and friends.

His interests were many: his love of flying, beginning as a pilot in the RCAF during WWII; downhill skiing in the Laurentians as the oldest Red Birds Ski Club member; cross-country skiing; playing singles and doubles tennis, and paddling in his cedar canoe. He loved spending time with family and friends in Westmount, Woodlands (Lery), Eastern Townships, across Ontario and, especially, Muskoka.

Sincere thanks to the devoted and caring staff at the Ste. Anne's Veterans Hospital. Messages of condolences may be shared with the family at libby.m.stark@gmail.com.

Frank will be remembered in a Celebration of Life in the new year.

Au revoir. Bye for now. Toodeloo.
