Staff Appreciation Week Sets Sail

All year, teachers and staff devote themselves to students' success. From February 6-11 the Selwyn House Parent Volunteer Association showed how much they value the hard work and dedication of the school’s faculty and staff. The annual Staff Appreciation Week is always the high point of the year for staffers.

The whole week centred around a cruise theme with decorated ocean views and vacation-like decor. Selwyn House parents treated staff all week to different wonderful activities. Tuesday morning, the staff received coffee and a personalized treasure chest full of delicious baked treats. On Wednesday, the PVA organized a delightful luncheon with live music in the Rossy Agora. Staff enjoyed foods from all parts of the world with parents making sure everyone and everything was cared for. All staff members were treated to a raffle prize! Thursday kicked-off with an early morning stretch with chair yoga before class accompanied by smoothies, a personalized message in a bottle, and delicious treats. Relaxation continued throughout the day with pilates at lunch and after-school. Coristine Hall was transformed on Friday into a casino-themed "5 à 7". Staff enjoyed refreshments, delicious catered food, games, a photo-booth and even a retro 80s-themed arcade game. Thank you to the PVA and parents for organizing such a fun relaxing week – staff truly felt the love!
