    After-School Program

Each year, Selwyn House School offers an exciting and active After-School Program. The program offers a variety of clubs, homework supervision, and enrichment activities from dismissal until 6:00 p.m. The activities and supervision will vary, depending on grade level and day of the week.

The first option is the Extended-Day Program, which runs from dismissal until 6:00 p.m. and includes a snack, the daily club, one-hour homework supervision, and a follow-up period of games and activities. Your son may register in this option for one to five days per week. This option includes all extracurricular activities for the day your son is registered and a snack provided by the school.

The second option is the Grade 1-6 Homework Supervision Program. This will run from dismissal until 4:45 p.m. each day. During this period qualified French and English teachers will assist the students in both academic and organizational areas. This program operates on a drop-in basis. Each student will receive a snack and will be expected to remain in the classroom for the entire homework hour.

The third option is the Elementary Extracurricular Activities Program. Each day a specific club will offer age-appropriate activities. These clubs will run from dismissal until 4:45 p.m. and a snack is included for each student. Each year, the selection of clubs includes some returning clubs as well as several new activities. The clubs are automatically included in the “Extended Day” registration, but are also available to students who wish to register just for a specific club.
