Selwyn House School CSSHL Training Camp
Dear CSSHL Players and Parents,
Our 2026 CSSHL Training Camp will take place Monday, August 10 through Wednesday, August 12, 2026.
Attendance is expected for all players, as this is an important part of our evaluation process heading into Selwyn House School's third season in the CSSHL. Throughout the three days, our coaching staff will be evaluating hockey skills, work ethic, coachability, and the character traits that contribute to building a successful team.
Daily Schedule
Players are asked to report each day at 8:00 a.m. at Westmount Arena (4675 Saint-Catherine Street).
Goalies: Please note that goalie-specific training begins at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 11 and Wednesday, August 12. Goalies should arrive by 7:15 a.m. on those two days.
Each day is expected to finish between 3:30 and 4:00 p.m.
A detailed schedule for the week is attached.
What to Expect
Training camp has been designed to prepare our players for the season ahead and will include:
- On-ice practices
- Off-ice training
- On-ice and off-ice testing
- Video and analytics introductions
- Team activities
- Special guest speakers
- Inter-squad games
Meals
Lunch will be provided each day. Players should also bring plenty of snacks and a water bottle to stay fueled and hydrated throughout the day.
Practice jerseys and socks will be provided.
Cost
The cost of training camp is $240.
This amount will be billed to your Selwyn House School account through the Business Office.
