The Selwyn House Open

Join us for the 23rd Annual Old Boys & Friends’ Golf Tournament, version 2021

This year’s tournament has more twists than a Dustin Johnson long-distance birdie putt. Despite the pandemic, we will still meet the goals of our regular tournament:
#1 Enjoy Selwyn House camaraderie.
#2 Have lots of great golf stories to tell when it's all over.
#3 Continue to support the Old Boys' Association initiatives: the Old Boys’ Endowment Fund, the Old Boys’ Trip Fund and the Old Boys’ Speaker Series with our annual goal of raising $60,000.

Due to COVID-19 precautions, we have a new format. In lieu of playing at the Kanawaki Golf Club, we invite you to join The Selwyn House Open and play wherever you are!

Join us and have some fun for a great cause!

Play wherever you are

Play a round of 18 on your favourite course (excluding mini-putt) anywhere in the world between June 17 and July 18, 2021 and submit your score(s) throughout this time. Your name could appear on this year’s trophy!

Price:

$50 per person or $25 for young Old Boys (Class of 2017-2021) covers one scorecard entry
$25 for each additional scorecard entry
-OR-
$100 for a block of five scorecard entries

A full tax receipt will be issued for each entry. Each entry will also go into a draw to win a signed and numbered print created by artist Erin Rothstein for the Class of 2021 Bursary Initiative.

Registration Details:
Sign up and play anytime between June 17 and July 18, 2021. Play once, or submit as many scorecards as you like throughout this time. Pricing above for each entry. Register here, or click on the Participate Today button at the top right of the page.

To keep things light and the camaraderie going, no course ratings will used. Play with family and friends for your chance to win an individual prize, or play "best ball" as a foursome for some added fun. Everyone is welcome to join The Selwyn House Open and get a chance to win some wonderful prizes!

Share your score with us on Instagram or email:
After your round, take a photo of your scorecard, including the name of the golf course (and of the players too, if you like), tag #selwynoba or email it to Mary Ann Cloherty by midnight, July 18, 2021. Be sure to wear your Selwyn or Gryphon gear if you have some! Follow us @selwynoba.
