Digital Arts

With the assistance of a computer, the digital canvas opens up for the artist and many things become possible. Whether it’s learning to model for 3D printers, learning how to animate, using Photoshop to manipulate images, creating music using Ableton and the many synthesizers and drum machines in the studio, or putting clips together to make a movie, there are many skills artists may develop through the use of digital technology. The aim of the program is to raise awareness about the possibilities of what using a computer can do to develop the skills necessary to create powerful visual images and music.
