PUBLIC TRANSIT

Selwyn House School is easily accessible by public transit. Options include taking the #24 bus which stops on Sherbrooke Street West, one block south of the school, or travelling by metro. From the Atwater metro station, students have a 10-minute walk to the school, and from the Vendome station, students take a bus that brings them to within a block of the school. Students living on the West Island can take the AMT commuter train that stops at the Vendome metro station. In addition to the bus and metro, a BIXI bike station is located at the corner of Sherbrooke Street West and Argyle Avenue.


DEDICATED BUS SERVICES

Selwyn House School and five other local QAIS schools (The Study, Sacred Heart School, Miss Edgar’s and Miss Cramp’s School, St. George’s School, Centennial Academy and Trafalgar) operate four dedicated bus services for students. These safe, reliable services offer the option of one-way or two-way travel.

WEST ISLAND & ST-LAURENT

The first bus service accommodates students living in several communities on the West Island. It operates with two buses, with stops in Beaconsfield, Pointe Claire, Dollard-des-Ormeaux, Kirkland, and St-Laurent. Morning pick-ups are between 6:50 and 7:15 am and  afternoon drop-offs are between 4:30 and 5:20 pm. A second bus drops off between 6:05 and 6:30pm.  Currently, the cost is $290/month for two-way service and $240/month for one-way service.

ILE-DES-SOEURS

The second bus services Ile-des-Soeurs. Morning pick-ups are between 6:40 and 7:25 am and afternoon drop-offs are schedule for between 4:15 and 5:00 pm. A second bus drops off between 6:10 and 6:30pm.  The cost is currently $290/month for two-way service and $240/month for one-way service.

LAVAL & TOWN OF MOUNT ROYAL

The third bus services Laval and Town of Mount Royal. Morning pick-ups are between 6:45 and 7:25 am and afternoon drop-offs are between 4:10 and 5:00 pm. Currently, the cost is $290/month for two-way service and $240/month for one-way service.

SOUTH SHORE

The newest bus, services the South Shore. Morning pick-ups are between 6:40 and 7:25 am and afternoon drop-offs are between 4:15 and 5:00 pm. The cost is currently $300/month for two-way service and $250/month for one-way service.
