2014-2015 Athletic Engagement

BASKETBALL
The Gryphons made the playoffs in the GMAA Championships. The Juvenile Division-1 team reached the quarter-finals, the Juvenile
Division-3 team the semi-finals, and the Bantam team also reached the semi-finals.

SOCCER
The Gryphons were Juvenile Division 2 finalists in the GMAA. The Selwyn House Bantam team also reached the finals in the GMAA Championships.

CROSS-COUNTRY RUNNING
The Selwyn House Elementary School team won the GMAA banner.

FOOTBALL
Both the Juvenile and Cadet teams were semi-finalists in the Réseau du sport étudiant du Québec (RSEQ) Championships.

WRESTLING
The Gryphon Wrestling Team finished a strong fourth place at the GMAA City Championships with four medals: one gold, two silver and one bronze. At the 2015 Provincial Championships, the team brought home one bronze and three silver medals. One student also participated in the Canadian Championships in New Brunswick.

GMAA ANNUAL AWARDS
Nine Grade 8 students were named MVPs for their performances during the 2014-2015 season, and a tenth won the sportsmanship award. The school also won an award for overall participation in the annual Halo Race.
