On December 11 and 12, Grade 6 geared up for the snow and headed to Centre Plein Air Fatima for the second annual Winter Retreat! Students spent two exhilarating days honing their wilderness survival skills and challenging themselves in the Wilderness Skill Extravaganza. On the menu: orienteering, knot-tying, and fire-starting. Of course, we couldn't forget the perfect retreat evening ender: marshmallows roasted around a group fire! Mother Nature was on our side, delivering knee-deep snow that made for a memorable afternoon of sledding and snowy fun. Two days packed with new skills, teamwork, lots of laughs, and unforgettable memories! - Ms. Kelsey, Elementary School Outdoor Education Specialist
