Prefects Share a Focus on Kindness While Reading with Kindergarten

On March 17, our Prefects spent time with our youngest Selwyn students in Kindergarten. Together, they read "One" by Kathryn Otoshi, a story about choosing kindness, standing up to others, and following positive leaders. Between the giggles (from both the Kindergarteners and the Prefects), our student leaders shared that many of them started at Selwyn in Kindergarten as well. Their message about leadership was simple. If you want to be a prefect one day, keep Veritas close to your heart, make good choices, follow positive leaders, and always choose kindness. - Ms. Littman, Student Life and Leadership Coordinator
