Senior School Orators Shine at QAIS Public Speaking Run-Off

The QAIS Public Speaking Run-Off showcased the incredible talent of our Grade 10 and 11 orators. Our panel of judges included Ms. Littman, Mr. Nardi, Ms. Sweer, Joseph Brydges '25, Pre-U 26, and guest judges from the Westmount Toastmasters Club, Carlos Martinez-Serrano and Ben Landry. The decision was not easy, but in the end, William L. took first place, with Laszlo S., and Finlay M. as runners-up.

 

William went on to compete at the QAIS Finals at Villa Maria on April 30, where he earned an Honourable Mention. Bravo, William, and thank you for representing Selwyn House with such poise and strength. - Ms. Krespil, Senior School English teacher
