Senior School holds Week of Welcome

During the week of Sept. 8-11, Selwyn House Senior School held its annual Week of Welcome, a series of orientation activities held at the beginning of each academic year to build a sense of community and connection. On Wednesday, keynote speaker Jeff A.D. Martin spoke about biases and how they show up in our lives at school. On Friday, the Senior School fanned out around the City of Westmount, participating in various activities and games, followed by a BBQ lunch. “With a fantastic bunch of student leaders and a dedicated group of teachers, it was a successful day all around,” says Student Life Coordinator Rachel Cazabon.
