Summer Goalie Development Sessions
We’re excited to offer our Summer Goalie Development Sessions, led by our goalie coach Luca Ottoni alongside CSSHL Forward Coach Aidan Dres.
These sessions are designed to keep our goaltenders on the ice throughout the summer while continuing to develop every aspect of their game. Our focus will be on building technical skills, improving game awareness, and helping each goalie prepare for the upcoming season in a challenging, supportive environment.
Each session will focus on:
Goalie-specific skill development
Positioning and angle play
Agility and movement
Game awareness, decision-making, and situational play

Registration
Please email Alex Marcoux, Phil Okounam, and Mike Maurovich to let us know which sessions your son will be attending. We ask that you register in advance so we can plan each session accordingly. Attendance will be taken at every session.
Cost
$30 per session
Players are capped at 10 paid sessions ($300 total).
After attending and paying for 10 sessions, players are welcome to attend any remaining summer sessions at no additional cost.
If the cost of training presents a challenge for your family, please don't hesitate to reach out to Mike Maurovich directly. We never want finances to stand in the way of a player continuing to develop.
Commitment to Development
We strongly encourage every goaltender to attend as many sessions as their summer schedule allows. Consistent work over the summer is one of the biggest factors in a player's development. The goal is not just to get more ice time, but to build better habits, sharpen technical skills, improve game awareness, and develop the confidence needed to succeed when the season begins.
If a player is in town and available, we believe they should be taking advantage of these opportunities. The goalies who make the biggest improvements are often the ones who commit to the process and put in the extra work when no one is required to.
Throughout the summer, members of our coaching staff will also be stopping by sessions to watch our players' progress, work ethic, and commitment.
Whether it's an early morning skate or an evening session, these are great opportunities to get quality reps, compete, and continue improving in a positive, high-energy environment.
We look forward to seeing all of our goaltenders on the ice this summer!
