Lunar New Year at Selwyn Featured in News Highlight on Community and Culture

Selwyn House School’s Lunar New Year celebrations were recently featured in a news segment, highlighting the power of experiential learning, and community connection. At the heart of the story was a hands-on dumpling-making workshop, where our family volunteers came together to share a meaningful cultural tradition with students and staff. This marks the third year that this initiative has been led by Ms. Schwartz, Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Global Education Coordinator. The dumpling workshop was part of a broader Lunar New Year program that included a lion dance, presentations, and festive decorations throughout the school.
