Senior School Production Raises Funds with Backstage Comedy “This Murder Was Staged”

It was the opening night of a brand-new mystery play, but just as the killer was about to be revealed, the body of the play's director fell on stage instead. The theatre then became an active crime scene and everyone, from cast to crew to even the audience, became a suspect!
Thirty senior school students treated their audiences to "This Murder Was Staged" by Patrick Greene and Jason Pizzarello on March 31 and April 1. The cast had a lot of fun staging this backstabbing, backstage comedy, and both Ms. Gasparini and Ms. Martin were proud of the cast and the production. A special shout-out is in order to the girls of St. George's who joined us once again this year. Thank you also to Jesse Caruso '17 for designing the poster. Over $700 was raised for Love (Québec), an organization that supports the mental health of young people through arts-based activities.
