When a masked intruder broke into his Montreal home this summer, Charles Seitz ’23 didn’t panic — he acted. Returning home late one night, Charles came face to face with the burglar and relied on his calm and his training to protect his family.
A former Selwyn House wrestling champion and jiu-jitsu athlete, Charles tackled and restrained the man until police arrived — preventing what could have been a terrifying outcome for his parents and sister sleeping upstairs.
