At the November 19 Annual General Meeting of the Selwyn House Association Board of Directors, Ted Claxton, Martha Legge-Fitzpatrick and Louise Houle retired from the board and were replaced by Laurent Ferreira, Marina Boulos-Winton and Charles Bierbrier.
At the November 19 Annual General Meeting of the Selwyn House Association Board of Directors, Ted Claxton, Martha Legge-Fitzpatrick and Louise Houle retired from the board and were replaced by Laurent Ferreira, Marina Boulos-Winton and Charles Bierbrier.
Ted Claxton started on the board in 1995 and served as chairman from 2007 to 2011. Ted will receive the Speirs Medal at Founder’s Day on November 22 for the work he did on many important dossiers, including the construction of the Speirs Building, renovations to the Lucas and Macaulay Buildings, spearheading the school’s linguistic evolution, and guiding the school in its response to language legislation.
Ms. Houle served on the board from 2004 to 2012, acting as legal advisor. Ms. Legge-Fitzpatrick sat on the board from 2007 to 2012, serving on the Marketing Committee, representing the Parent Association, and overseeing the renovations of the Headmaster’s Residence in 2008.
