Gryphon M15D3 Selects Capture LCC Invitational Championship in Overtime

The Gryphon M15D3 Selects continued their winning ways by taking the championship at the LCC Hockey Invitational tournament from February 12-14. They defeated a very strong team from the South Korea Zenith Ice Hockey Club 1-0 in overtime. The team went 5-0 in the tournament winning both the semi-final and finals in OT. Zach K. scored both winning goals. Goaltenders Vincent L. and Anthony T. had a tremendous tournament, each recording a shutout. The players gave 100% in order to pull off the win. Playing five games in two days is not easy, but they overcame the challenge to finish on top. - Coach Derek Widgington
