Selwyn GMAA Chess Champions Stay Undefeated

This year's GMAA Virtual Chess League Final was an absolute nail-biter. The Selwyn team, consisting of Valentino S., Platon K., Bill Z., and Nathan C., hosted Bialik for four intense rounds of chess. After the second round, the teams were tied at 8 points each. After the third round, Selwyn was down 14-10. In the fourth round, Selwyn House managed to win 3 out of 4 games to tie the match. Overtime was a 1v1 match with Valentino competing for Selwyn House alone. He dominated the game to go undefeated in the tournament, and win the GMAA Virtual Chess Banner for Selwyn House for the second year in a row. Congratulations to the entire team for their dedication this season.
