Selwyn Debate Claims Top Honours at the Aristotle Cup

The weekend of April 11-12, the Selwyn House Debate Team participated in the Aristotle Cup, a competition hosted by Marianopolis College. We had five teams of debaters participate: Justin I. & David V., Yaseen A. & Clement M., Liam S. & Tycho V. Yuri M. & Jacob B., and Ricky X. & Yijing W.

 

After four rounds and an open final, Selwyn swept the top three speaker spots: Justin (3rd), Yuri (2nd), and Jacob (1st). The winning team of the tournament was Yuri & Jacob. Congratulations to all of the Selwyn debaters!
