Varsity Flag Football Opens Season with a Gritty Win
The Varsity Flag Football team got off to a fantastic start to the season on April 28 with a hard-fought victory against l'école secondaire Monseigneur-Richard.
Selwyn opened the scoring with a touchdown off an interception return before Monseigneur-Richard answered back. In the second quarter, our quarterback methodically led the offense down the field to help Selwyn regain the lead heading into halftime.
After the opponents tied the game once again, Selwyn responded immediately, reclaiming the lead and showcasing a dominant defensive performance to close out the win.
