Senior School Physics Students Take on the Secret Agent LASER Race

To wrap up the year, Grade 11 physics students took part in the annual “Secret Agent LASER (Light Amplification by Stimulated Emission of Radiation) Race,” turning the classroom into a dynamic test of both strategy and scientific thinking. Working in teams, students raced to direct their laser beams toward designated targets, using mirrors and their understanding of reflection to navigate the space. The challenge demanded precision, communication, and quick adjustments along the way. Fast-paced and engaging, the race once again delivered a memorable and energetic end to the course. - Mr. Tom Downey, Senior School Science Department Head and Pre-U Physics teacher
