Cadet Football Wins Championship

In a hard-fought championship matchup, the Cadet Football D4 Gryphons battled through relentless rain and mounting injuries to claim a thrilling victory in the finals. 

 

Despite the conditions, the team showed incredible heart and focus, refusing to let adversity dictate the outcome. With the starting quarterback out, the offense rallied behind Shelby G., who stepped up in a big way, making smart decisions, delivering key plays when it mattered most, and earning Player of the Game honors. The defense and special teams rose to the occasion as well, making crucial stops and maintaining composure under pressure. Late in the game, the defense delivered the moment of the season, forcing a fumble and returning it for a touchdown to seal the championship win! 

 

Words can’t express how proud I am of this team. They’re not just outstanding athletes, they’re exceptional young men. They look out for each other, are selfless and always put the team first.
