Retired Selwyn House teacher Judith Clark died in Montreal on November 22, 2016. She had two sons who graduated from Selwyn House: Kenneth '78 and Douglas '81. She taught at Selwyn House from 1961-1963, and 1972-1992. The following obituary appeared in the Montreal Gazette.
Judith Clark (Anderson) 1939-2016 died suddenly in her home. She was the daughter of William and Dorothy(Watson) and sister of Ross. Beloved mother of Kenneth and Douglas, his wife Morag, and cherished grandmother to their children Shonagh and Andrew. Judy had a keen interest in the arts, culture and learning. She studied Art History at Bishop's University, was a retired teacher of Selwyn House, and volunteered at the local library and museums. She enjoyed life fully, travelled extensively, and at various times was a member of a gourmet, book, walking and bridge clubs, as well as, a long time member of the Monkland Tennis Club. Judy pursued her passion for learning all her life and was currently taking courses at McGill University. In her later years, she was received into the Anglican Church of St. Mathias and embraced the community. Judy was loved and will be sadly missed by all those whose lives she touched. A memorial serviced will be announced early in the new year for family and friends to celebrate her life.
