Kyriakos Koutsos and Kiriakos Primbas were never close friends at Selwyn House, even though they were both in the Class of 2015 and almost had the same name. After high school, however, they became business partners, almost by accident.
Last year, Primbas was at Dawson College and had started his own digital printing company. Koutsos was at LaSalle College and working in graphic design. When their respective customers requested additional services, the two “K”s found themselves referring clients to one another.
One day they got together and said. “We’ve been sending each other a lot of clients. Why don’t we work together?” On January 1, 2017, KK Productions was launched.
In their experience, they had encountered many clients who fall into a particular niche. They tend to be business people in their 30s or 40s who have not fully brought their business into the digital age. So the two Ks saw a business opportunity in helping such people adapt to business in the digital age.
Such people, they found, need various inter-related services, not only websites and printing, but also things like marketing plans, social media development and search engine optimization. So K and K combined their skills to create a one-stop shop for serving those multi-needs clients.
Working out of home and servicing clients in Montreal, Ottawa and Toronto, the two Ks offer marketing consultation, digital printing, graphic design, website development, social media development and search engine optimization.
“Everything you need to start a business,” says Kiriakos.
So far, adds Kyriakos, “It’s rolling smoothly.”
