Larry Holmes visits SHS

Retired boxer Larry Holmes, often ranked as on of the greatest heavyweights of all time, visited Selwyn House on October 26 to speak to Senior School boys. Holmes, who competed from 1973 to 2002, has held four heavyweight titles, defending them successfully in 20 bouts. With a career record of 69 wins and 6 losses, his left jab is often rated among the best in boxing history. He is one of only four boxes to ever defeat Muhammad Ali, and the only one to ever stop Ali before the end of the fight.
