The 21st Annual Old Boys’ Tennis Tournament returned on June 6, bringing together 17 Old Boys for an evening of friendly doubles at the Mount Royal Tennis Club. With several others dropping in to reconnect or join for dinner, the event once again delivered on its promise of good tennis and great company.
The tournament was organized with the help of Jason Tsadilas ’88 and longtime supporter Sam Gold ’78, whose efforts kept the matches running smoothly throughout the night. After a series of close games, Sam and Jonathan Goldbloom ’72 came out on top, earning their names a spot on the tournament trophy. A three-way tie for second led to a spirited final match, with Nick Kaulbach ’94 and Jules Gagnon ’15 clinching the runner-up title.
Headmaster Mike Downey and his wife Laura were in attendance, along with members of the Advancement Office: Kim Auclair, Sharon Cozens, Melissa Gagné, and Stefania Montuoro. Olivier Séguin-Leduc was also there to capture the evening in photos. The night wrapped up with cocktails and a relaxed dinner, closing out another successful edition of this long-standing Selwyn tradition.
