Debating Team Competes in Ottawa
This weekend, the Selwyn House debate team competed at the LIFT tournament at Lycee Claudel School in Ottawa. Representing the middle school was Daniel Bergevin, Mackenzie Blaise, Sasha Klein-Charland, Dylan Lee, and James Sabbagh. Notable accomplishments: This was Mackenzie and James' first senior tournament. Daniel and Sasha competed with each other (not their usual debate partners) and did very well. Dylan participated without a partner (which is a very difficult task) and finished as the 2nd overall ranked junior speaker.
