On Oct 2, Selwyn House had the largest attendance for an Open House in the school’s history.
Director of Admissions Nathalie Gervais called it “a smashing success.”
One hundred forty-six families—representing 152 prospective students—visited the school. There were 45 for Kindergarten, 30 for Elementary School, 59 for Grade 7, seven for Grade 8, and 11 for Senior School.
Last year, 94 families visited the school for Open House. Previously, the largest number of visiting families was 112 in 2016.
A visiting parent (who works at a Montreal private school) sent us the following comment:
“I wanted to personally reach out to you to congratulate you on yesterday's Open House. As a prospective parent for my son going into Grade 5, I was blown away with the quality of programming and experiential learning opportunities that Selwyn offers. My son and I loved meeting some of the teachers and seeing some of the spaces that I have never seen before! Your library is incredible!”
