Students build forest installations

On Dec 2 and 3, Kirk Brydges’ Grade 10 Wood Sculpture class took a trip to Arundel Science Centre to build ephemeral installations in the woods. The inspiration for these installations developed from the influence and study of environmental artist Andy Goldsworthy.
“The boys worked hard for two days to produce these amazing products,” says Mr. Brydges. Students taking part were: Conor Waldron, Gustav Scheibler, William Birks de Courcy-Ireland, Thomas Plamondon, and Sean Vinh (all Grade 10).
