Montour signs with Toronto law firm

McGill University Law Student and Selwyn House Old Boy Brandon Montour 2014 was just signed for a summer stint with the prestigious Toronto law firm of McCarthy-Tétrault.

Now in his first year at McGill, Brandon had applied to four firms in Toronto for the May-August tenure. He was on the phone accepting a job with the Attorney General’s office when he had to cut the call short to accept the offer from McCarthy.

As one of the Indigenous graduates of Selwyn House and the only Indigenous member of his McGill class, Brendan says that promoting the inclusion of Onkwehón:we lawyers among Canada’s elite law firms is very important to him.
