Grade 8 students participate in historical reenactment

A group of students in Grade 8 practiced and performed three historical reenactments as part of their unit on the Renaissance and Reformation.

The boys created short plays that centered on a trio of transformative characters of their time and their impact on history: Johannes Gutenberg for the development of the printing press, Leonardo Da Vinci for his innovations in art, and Nicolaus Copernicus for his new ideas of the cosmos.

Each play brought to life challenges and successes these innovators and inventors experienced.
