Senior School student competes in first international karate tournament

Grade 10 student Shen H. recently participated in his first international karate tournament in Bogota over the summer. He dominated in the first kata round, but unfortunately lost in a close second round. Nevertheless, Shen had a great time and is already preparing for the Japanese Karate Association (JKA) Canadian Championship in Toronto this November. Let's all wish him the best of luck in his future karate endeavours!
