SHS honours academic achievement
On September 16, Selwyn House has inaugurated a new awards ceremony, to be held each fall, to recognize academic achievements earned during the previous school year by students who were in Grades 8, 9 and 10 at the time.
These awards, which had previously been included in the end-of-year prizegiving ceremony, have now been given their own ceremony at the beginning of the subsequent year.
This year’s Academic Achievement Awards were presented on September 16 in Coristine Hall, in a ceremony presided over by Headmaster Hal Hannaford and Mike Downey, Head of Senior School and Assistant Headmaster.
