Middle School Closing Celebration

On June 12, Mr. Lajoie, Head of Elementary and Middle School, presided over the Middle School Closing Celebration. The afternoon offered a chance for students, families, and staff to look back on the year’s journey and acknowledge both growth and achievement. Student leaders took to the stage to share thoughtful reflections on the Veritas truths, and the ceremony also featured the tradition of presenting the Middle School tie to the graduating Grade 8 class, and welcome to Senior School by Mr. Banerjee, Head of Senior School. 

The celebration wrapped up with light refreshments and time for families and staff to connect and enjoy the moment together. For many parents, it was a meaningful reminder of the strong sense of community that defines Selwyn House. Thank you to all who contributed to an afternoon that captured the spirit of Middle School—a place where curiosity is nurtured, involvement is encouraged, and learning is embraced with enthusiasm.
