From Grade 6 to 7 - Student Panel

On April 28, Grade 6 students attended a panel discussion led by three Grade 7 students: William Lacasse, Freddy Oldland and Alexandre Tardif. The event was hosted by Ms. Funamoto and Mr. Lajoie and supported by the Grade 6 teaching staff, as well as Ms. Beech and Mme Jean. William, Freddy and Alexandre gave an introduction on what to expect as Grade 6 students transition to Grade 7, including their thoughts on what was most challenging, and what the best thing about Middle School is. Questions from Grade 6 boys were varied: the shift from homerooms to core groups; having multiple teachers; the addition of a new class of students; lockers; workload; and the Veritas Golden Tie. All students showed a great deal of interest and maturity! – Mr. Lajoie, Head of Middle School
