Middle School Year-End Celebration: Honoring Achievements and Welcoming New Beginnings

Grade 7 and 8 students, parents, and staff celebrated the end of the school year together in Coristine Hall on Thursday, June 15. The focus was on recognizing the rich Middle School experience with the whole community. During the event, Mr. Downey presented a summary of student achievements throughout the school year, followed by four student speakers reflecting on how the four pillars of Veritas played a role in Middle School life. The ceremony also featured a card presentation honouring Ms. Funamoto's retirement. Mr. Lajoie and Mr. Banerjee then took the stage to present Grade 8 students with the Middle School tie and welcome them to Senior School. Families and friends had the opportunity to take photos together and capture the last few memories of an excellent school year!
